Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions are designed to help you challenge and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
Sessions last around an hour, using sessions to explore areas and identify changes. Homework will be set for between sessions to help practice new techniques.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR therapy uses eye movements, or tapping (bilateral stimulation) whilst thinking about the traumatic event, to help the brain to process and update what happened.
We hope to move from having negative thoughts associated to more positive thoughts. Sessions last between 60-90 minutes, and most of the work is done in session.
Fees: £60/hour
Other Training and Experience
Therapists also have experience and training in ACT (acceptance commitment therapy) , bereavement, one session therapy and CFT (compassion focused therapy).
These maybe integrated into therapy with skills but not used as stand alone therapy modes.
